Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. has identified the victims of a fatal crash yesterday morning as a Cambria County man and a Blair County woman.
The crash happened shortly before 6 AM on Route 56 near Sunflower Lane when an eastbound vehicle operated by 22-year-old John Caton Dorian of Johnstown crossed the center line and collided head-on with the westbound vehicle of 33-year-old Cassandra Lee Jones of Tyrone.
Overman says Dorian was pronounced dead at 6:06 AM and Jones at 7:09 AM. Both victims died of blunt force trauma. Both were wearing seatbelts and neither of them had any passengers.
