Richard L. Bozich, 66 of Josephine, passed away on Thursday, October 07, 2021 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
He was born January 26, 1955 in Oakland, PA, the son of the late A. Louis Bozich and Helen (Linkowski) Bozich. He had attended the former Vale Tech in Blairsville. Richard had worked in the coal mines and was an all-around great handyman. He was a Burrell Township Library Board member, enjoyed wildlife and cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams. He also spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ruby L. (Skinner) Bozich, Josephine, PA; son, Benjamin Rennow & wife, Chryl, Strongstown, PA; daughter, Tabitha Cox & husband, Christopher, Buford, SC; daughter, Casandra Hill-Sokol & husband, Colin, CA; grandchildren: Haylee, Hannah, Nathan, Garett, James, Cooper, Eli, Logan & Christian; brothers, Donald & Michael Bozich and sisters: Maryanne Diluigi, Carol Bozich and Amy Neubert.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 5 PM with Pastor Gary Alberding officiating.
