No word yet if anyone was injured in a crash near Homer City last night. The crash was reported at 8:43 PM at the intersection of Route 119 South and Old Route 119 in Center Township. Homer City Volunteer Fire Department, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were dispatched to the scene and discovered that a car got caught on the guardrail. State police have not issued a news release on this crash yet.

That was one of two vehicle accidents reported on Thursday by Indiana County 911. Reports say that Marion Center fire crews, Citizens Ambulance and state police were dispatched to 1470 Nashville Road in Grant Township at 4:29 PM. Fire officials say that they did have to extricate one person as they were trapped in their vehicle after the vehicle crashed into a pole.
