There were no reported injuries in a crash this morning in Blairsville Borough as a vehicle hit two structures on East Market Street.
Indiana County 911 dispatched Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments along with Blairsville Police at 10:39 this morning for a reported crash on East Market Street involving a runaway vehicle. The vehicle veered off the road and collided with the Blairsville Beverage building. Police say the driver, Ryan Knecht of Blairsville, had parked his Chevy Volt in front of his home in the 400 block of East Market Street, but the car began to drift backwards after he got out. The vehicle crossed the street and hit a house at 415 East Market Street before crossing back over and hitting the Blairsville Beverage building, where it eventually stopped. There was no significant damage to the 415 East Market Street house but there was significant damage to Blairsville Beverage.
The vehicle had minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.
