State police are announcing some child safety seat workshops as part of National Child Passenger Safety week next week.
The two fitting stations will allow parents and caregivers to have the child safety seat checked for suitability and receive instruction on proper child safety seat installation and harnessing children in those seats. Appointments are not required.
The stations will be set up at the Indiana Fire Association West station on Indian Springs Road on Monday, September 20th from 2-7:30 PM. A second is scheduled the next day from 2-7:30 PM at the State Police Barracks on Fenton Road.
Additional child safety seat information can be found at Safekids.org and pakidstravelsafe.org
