No one was hurt in a three-vehicle crash that happened Saturday afternoon in Brush Valley Township. State police say at 2:30 PM, 46-year-old Lisa Zayac of Homer City was driving east on Route 56 near the intersection of Spruce Hollow Road and started to slow down to make a left hand turn when her vehicle was rear-ended by a Honda CRV driven by 67-year-old Patricia Moser of Indiana. The impact pushed Zayac’s vehicle into the westbound lane and into a vehicle driven by 73-year-old Leonard Smith of Shelocta. All three vehicles were disabled and had to be towed from the scene. While Moser was cited for following too slowly, Zayac was charged with not wearing a seat belt.
State police have issued a non-traffic citation for an incident of theft at the White Township Walmart that happened on July 27th. Troopers say on that day, an un-named 25-year-old Indiana woman allegedly tried to steal $97.61 worth of groceries from the store on Oakland Avenue.
A Clymer woman faces a disorderly conduct charge after an incident Sunday morning in Indiana Borough. State police say that 21-year-old Gabriele Musselman of Clymer was charged after she tried to interfere with an investigation at a location in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street.
