The Purchase Line School Board met Monday night and approved one change to the health and safety plan.
The change dealt with the federal mandate that masks be worn on public transportation, including school buses. As far as the schools go, masks are still optional. Superintendent Shawn Ford also talked about a clarification that he made concerning the health and safety plan.
In other business, the board approved some motions that are part of getting ready for the school year, including the prices for school breakfast and lunch, and the approval of handbooks for teachers and students at both the elementary and high schools.
The board also approved minor changes to the district’s policy concerning electronic devices, which now bring the policy in line with the Pennsylvania School Board Association.
