Multiple people were sentenced on Tuesday in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas. One of them was a man who faced felony burglary charges for an incident that happened on Christmas Eve last year.
Judge Michael Clark sentenced 21-year-old Bailey Charles Edwards to serve one month to two years in Indiana County Jail, after he and 20-year-old Jacob Alan Lawson broke into the Top Shelf tobacco shop located along the 800-block of Wayne Ave. They were both identified after Indiana Borough and IUP Police were given access to the store’s surveillance system.
Lawson had his preliminary hearing in January.
Also sentenced yesterday was 41-year-old Christopher Neuner of Seward. He was sentenced to serve two years of probation for two third-degree felony charges of criminal trespass. Those charges stemmed after police say he and 38-year-old Brian Patrick Neuner entered a home in East Wheatfield Township in November 2020 and vandalized a pick-up truck.
