State Police and Homer City fire crews were called out for a vehicle crash involving a gas pump at the Homer City Sheetz on Wednesday night.
Indiana County 911 reports that the police and fire departments along with Citizens Ambulance were called out at 8:43 PM to the intersection of Route 119 and Lucerne Road Extension for the crash as an SUV collided with a gas pump on the Lucerne Road Extension side.

Homer City Fire Chief Terry Gardner said that after the impact, Sheetz was able to shut off all the pumps at once.
The suspect, identified by police as a 33-year-old man from Penn Run, was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI-controlled substance and suspected possession of a controlled substance. Charges against the suspect are pending as the investigation is ongoing.
