With workers hard to find, Idlewild & SoakZone and its sister amusement parks, Kennywood and Sandcastle Waterpark, have announced wage increases for most hourly workers.
The wages at Idlewild will be graduated, with workers aged 14 and 15 starting at $7.50 an hour; 16-and 17-year-olds will earn $9 an hour; adult workers will get $13 per hour, with some as much as $16 based on the position. There will also be extra incentives, such as season passes for themselves and as many as three members of their immediate family, if they apply before May 10th.
Idlewild & SoakZone opens for the season on May 29th.
