The Indiana Area girls were eliminated from the WPIAL playoffs last night in a 40-32 loss to Moon in the 5A preliminary round.
The game was aired on WDAD FM 100.3 and AM 1450.

The District 6 playoffs began last night with the Girls Class A games. No Heritage Conference teams are in the field, but plenty are in the Girls AA tournament, which tips off tonight.
There are three games on our Renda Broadcasting stations tonight. There is a girls’ AA game featuring Heritage Conference foes United and Homer Center. The Wildcats won both meetings with the Lions this year. Mark Bertig will have the call of the game from the Homerdome, airtime 6:45 p.m. on WCCS FM 101.1 FM and AM 1160.
Two more Heritage Conference foes meet at West Shamokin, where the Penns Manor Comets visit the Wolves. The two teams split their season series. Todd Marino calls the action on U92.5 FM WQMU, airtime 6:45 p.m.
Blairsville’s girls also play tonight, on the road at Bishop McCort.
