The people of Indiana County have come through again, raising the money to meet a challenge from the Indiana Kiwanis Club, which pledged $15,000 to the Indiana County Community Action Program and asked for the public to contribute the rest of the $35,000 purchase price of a large freezer and generator for ICCAP’s food bank.
The funds were raised in two weeks. The freezer is on order and the site is being prepared.
The Kiwanis Club sends its thanks to Grace United Methodist Church, InFirst Bank, Midday Rotary Club, Evening Rotary Club, Maraj Holdings, StreamFlo, Summit Church, Dr. John Frank and Ron and Esther Sain.
