The average cost of a gallon of gasoline in Indiana County continues to go down as demand for gas goes down.
Triple-A reports that the average cost of a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania is now $2.43 a gallon. That’s down two cents from last week and down five cents from this time last month. The national average is now $2.11 a gallon, which is three cents less than last week. The reason for the lower gas prices is because the demand for gas in the United States went down from 8.55 million barrels a day to 8.34 million barrels a day.
