PSP-INDIANA
State police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash from late August. Police say at 12:36 PM on August 30th, an unidentified woman crashed her white sedan into a vehicle occupied by a 48-year-old Indiana woman at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Rose Street in White Township. The suspect then fled the scene. The suspect was described by police as a white woman with blonde hair about 18-21 years old. Police say that the suspect is facing charges of criminal mischief of under $1000. If anyone has any information on the crash, they can call police at 724-357-1960.
Three people from West Virginia were charged with drug possession in West Wheatfield Township. State police say this happened on September 5th at a location on Route 22 East. While their names were not revealed, police say a 21-year-old man from Charleston, a 45-year-old man from Hurricane and a 19-year-old woman from Oceana were found in possession of marijuana, marijuana wax and other items of drug paraphernalia.
State police arrested an Altoona man on drug-related charges. Police say on September 5th, police pulled over an un-named 26-year-old man driving on Route 22 near Shady Grove Road and was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
