President Donald Trump’s campaign stop on Thursday in Latrobe was attended by more than 7,000 people at and around Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, and that attendance could get the Trump campaign organizers in trouble with the state.
Reports say that Governor Wolf’s office was not notified of the event, nor did anyone from President Trump’s campaign ask permission to break the current mandate of 250 people or less for any outdoor event. Many of those who were in attendance did not adhere to social distancing guidelines of staying six feet away from one another, and many did not wear face coverings either.
The Wolf administration said they would be in contact with President Trump’s campaign to remind them of Pennsylvania’s Covid-19 mitigation measures.
