State police say that a Black Lick man was arrested recently on some active warrants and on drug possession charges. Police say on August 21st, a 21-year-old un-named man was arrested as police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Park Drive and Laney Street in Black Lick. They found the man was wanted on several warrants and when police searched his vehicle, drugs and drug paraphernalia was seized. The suspect was taken to Indiana County Jail on the active warrants.
Police say they found a bag of merchandise along the side of a road in White Township late Wednesday morning and they want to return the items. Police say they got a report of a suspicious black gym bag with grey straps in the 1700 block of Oakland Avenue near Burger King in White Township. Police found in the bag an American Eagle hoodie, a white pillow, an unopened can of iced tea and several personal hygiene products.
