INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are investigating a case of criminal mischief that happened on Saturday. Police say that between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, a window on a four-door black sedan was damaged as the car was parked in a private driveway to a home in the “00” block of South 13th Street. Anyone with information should call police at 724-349-2121.

State police are continuing to investigate a theft of a large amount of cash earlier this month in Lucernemines. Police say that the theft happened on August 8th at a location on 9th Street, as an unknown person stole $3,460. No other information has been made available.
State police have charged an Indiana man with criminal mischief for an incident that happened over the weekend in White Township. Troopers say that 23-year-old Leroy Thorpe of Indiana threw a rock through a window at a home on Maple Street occupied by a 55-year-old Indiana woman. Thorpe later admitted to throwing the rock.
