Indiana Borough Police have charged two Indiana men following an incident along the 100-block of Philadelphia Street Thursday morning.
Police were dispatched shortly after 5:40, and found Sean Mundashi and Benjamin Bendaham, both 23, had been involved in an altercation in front of a home. Charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct were filed against both men through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
Indiana Borough Police also charged a Shelocta man with theft shortly after 1:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Reports say that officers were dispatched to reports of theft coming from the 700-block of Wayne Avenue, and after officers arrived, they found 29-year-old Quincy Antonio Thomas Jr. stole a case of alcoholic drinks from the location.
Thomas was arrested, but later released on a citation for retail theft that was filed through District Judge Haberl’s office.
