Three First Commonwealth leaders were appointed to committees associated with the Pennsylvania Bankers Association yesterday.
Melissa Burba, SVP and Senior Product Group Manager, was named to the PA Bankers’ School of Banking Committee. This school focuses on four primary areas of banking including leadership, sales and marketing, bank environment and financed.
It is also designed for beginners in the banking realm, those for “taking the next step” in advancing their careers and skilled professionals looking to get into the banking industry. Members act as liaisons between member banks and schools, approve curriculums and monitor the program on-site and aid in direct program marketing.
Kris Levan, SVP/Marketing & Communication Manager, was named to the PA Bankers’ Women in Banking Advisory Committee.
This committee develops and coordinates offerings to provide expanded and focused resources to the women in PA’s banking industry in professional development, networking, recognition and more. Members of the PA Bankers’ Women in Banking Advisory Committee assist in planning the annual Women in Banking Conference in March.
And Carrie Riggle, EVP and Human Resources Manager, was named to the Bankers’ Emerging Leaders Advisory Committee.
This committee launches and furthers the development of the PA Bankers’ Emerging Leaders initiative. Members of this committee also assist in planning the association’s annual Emerging Leaders Conference in September.
FC Financial Corporation CEO Mike Price said he is proud of these leaders as they step up and offer their time, and all three members will serve three-year terms that began on July 1st.
