New data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health shows another decline in coronavirus cases in Indiana County as of last night.
Indiana County’s 7-day trends all moved in the right direction with one of the biggest drops the past two weeks coming in the PRC percent of positivity which dropped below the key 5 percent metric to just 4.6 percent. A graphic showing the differential in cases within the county show a minus 11 case difference in confirmed cases when comparing the timeframes of the most recent 7-days – August 21st to the 27th – vs the previous seven days – August 14th to the 20th.
The “percent positivity” is considered a key metric in showing the prevalence of Covid-19 cases. Indiana Regional Medical Center reported just one Covid-19 hospitalization. We continue to encourage everyone to do your part to slow the spread.
