A state police fire marshal has ruled the cause and origin of Saturday night‘s house fire in Montgomery Township will not be able to be determined.
Five fire companies were dispatched to the home on Wilgus Road at 9:19 PM Saturday night. At least two others were summoned for tanker support.
Trooper Seth Helman set the damage at $250,000 to the home of 56-year-old Roger Rowley of Glen Campbell. It’s a total loss, with nothing left but the foundation. No one was home at the time of the fire and two dogs perished.
