After an Indiana County Court hearing yesterday, one man was found guilty by a jury for multiple drug charges.
Reports from District Attorney Bob Manzi’s office say 32-year-old Andrew Kirk Rankin of Creekside was found guilty for an incident dating back to June 2019, where a State Police investigation revealed that he sold a mixture of heroin and fentanyl for $300. Rankin originally pled guilty in a plea court hearing, but withdrew his plea and opted for a jury trial. In this trial, the jury delivered a verdict within five minutes of discussion.
He was charged with possession and intent to deliver, and a sentencing hearing will occur at a later date in front of President Judge William Martin.
