The Marion Center school board will meet tonight over Zoom video conferencing services to vote on a motion to adopt a comprehensive policy, as well as revised district policies. The approval of Resolution 82420-1 will not only adopt a new Title IX policy, but it will also implement all requirements to the Title IX regulations. It will be approved as presented.
The board will also vote on revised policies that include telework, dating violence, school security personnel and will feature a portion focused on maintaining professional adult/student boundaries – guidance to a digital learning environment.
Also on the agenda is the motion to approve the list of IUP student teachers for the school year and the motion to hire Ken Deem as the school photographer.
The Executive Session begins at 7 p.m., with the Voting Session to follow at 7:30 p.m.
