More reaction is coming in about a secret agreement concerning a car show in Carlysle that went against crowd size guidelines.
The deal allowed the organizers of the Car Show to proceed with their event as normal, expecting way more than the 250 people permitted for outside events as part of the green phase. When the Department of Health took the organizers to Commonwealth Court, the judge encouraged the two sides to come to a settlement, which allowed the organizers to go ahead with their event.
State Senator Joe Pittman said that the reason why the event went on unhindered was because the Governor never put any recommendations into law.
At the time the agreement came to light, Secretary of Health Dr. Rachael Levine declined to comment, saying it was an ongoing legal issue.
