The State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement released its stats for July 31 through August 2.
The Punxsutawney office, which includes the counties of Indiana, Jefferson, Clearfield and Clarion, conducted 90 license checks and issued six warnings related to COVID 19 mitigation efforts. Specific information on what establishments were warned was not available. No citations were issued.
A total of 560 checks have been done since July 1, with 38 warnings issued and one citation issued. In the state, 21,251 have been done since July 1, with 449 warnings issued and seven citations issued.
Compliance checks are unannounced and can occur anywhere in the commonwealth to see if the business is in compliance with mitigation efforts. e.g., customers wearing masks unless seated, providing six feet between tables and booths and ensure maximum occupancy limits for indoor and outdoor areas.
