In Indiana County Court today, a Carnegie man will have a Plea Court appearance before Judge Thomas Bianco to answer a charge of criminal mischief.
42-year-old Thomas Christopher Fry was involved in a domestic altercation with a woman at an apartment along Dolores Circle in White Township last January. Fry was accused of choking the woman, and she was accused of scratching him. When she fled the scene, police said he threw a hammer at her car.
Both were initially taken into custody by state police and Fry was charged with criminal mischief, strangulation, simple assault, and harassment. All of the charges except criminal mischief were dropped at district court. The woman was not charged.
Fry also has a driving under the influence case for which he will both plead and be sentenced. His is one of 36 DUI cases being adjudicated in county court today.
