There were no reported injuries in an incident last night in Burrell Township where cable lines were pulled down. State police say that the crash happened around 6:11 PM near 620 Liberty Street. A large truck was going south on Liberty Street when it got tangled on cable wires. The wires broke off and fell to the ground. The wires belonged to Comcast and they were notified of the damage. No injuries were reported and the truck involved was able to drive from the scene. Blairsville Fire Department was called in to help with cleanup efforts.
State police have charged a Clymer man with harassment after an incident last Tuesday. Troopers say an unnamed 40-year-old Clymer man had called his victim, a 41-year-old Clymer woman a total of 22 times in one day. The woman was the man’s ex-girlfriend and the calls were connected with a previous domestic-related incident and the victim was moving out. Charges were filed through district court.
