An online bidder won yesterday’s auction of the Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort & Conference Center, purchasing the 345-acre property for $2.4 million. Hostetter Auctioneers says the winning bidder’s identity will not be revealed until the paperwork and payment information are complete.
Approximately 75 bidders were present for the auction, including around 60 online. The auction started at noon and was over shortly after one o’clock, with the bids rapidly jumping from the starting point of $500,000. Chestnut Ridge features two 18-hole golf courses and a 48,000-square foot clubhouse/conference center/banquet facility.
