MARION CENTER BOROUGH
State police say two thieves made off with electronics and household items from a Marion Center home on Saturday night.
The burglars, a man and woman whose identities police know but have not released, broke into the home along Manor Street between 8:50 PM and 9 o’clock and stole approximately $3,190 worth of items, including a 55-inch TV, a PlayStation game console and five games, an Xbox console and five games, a laptop computer, vacuum cleaner, one hundred feet of wire, some unused electric outlets, clothing, and memory foam pillows. The most valuable item stolen was collection of “Magic the Gathering” cards valued at $1,000.
The victim is a 29-year-old man. Charges are pending and police encourage anyone with information on the break-in to contact them at 357-1960.
SALTSBURG BOROUGH
State police say charges are pending against a man who attempted to force himself sexually on a store cashier at a gas station in Saltsburg. Police say that on Saturday night, the suspect entered the BP gas station store on Washington Street and exposed himself to the 56-year-old cashier, then grabbed her arm and attempted to solicit sex from her.
During the investigation, police were able to identify the suspect.
