East Stroudsburg University yesterday announced that “the majority” of its fall classes will be online only.
School president Marcia G. Welsh said in a release on the East Stroud website that while she knows of the major implications the decision will have on the community, the university will offer only “a very limited number of classes in a hybrid format, meaning both remote and in-person, to assist students with student teaching, clinical placements, internships, etc.”
West Chester announced last week that it will have no in-person classes this fall, becoming the first State System school to do so. IUP and the other twelve state-owned universities continue to plan the hybrid format of classes, although universities still have time to switch to all-online if they choose.
