The Pennsylvania Department of Aging will host a virtual community conversation tomorrow afternoon to discuss the upcoming four-year state plan on aging.
The conversation will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m., and the department is welcoming conversation from the public as well as community stakeholders throughout the state who wish to address concerns they may have regarding the aging plan. Participants who call in will be allotted two minutes to address their questions or concerns, or questions can be submitted in advance online, and they will be read during the conversation.
The department is offering two ways people can join the conversation:
- You can join in an online call using WebEx video conferencing service
- You can use your phone to call in at 1-855-797-9485, and enter the access code: 161 264 3439 when prompted to do so.
The State Plan on Aging is designed to help Pennsylvania meet the objectives of the Older Americans Act and will be submitted to the Administration for Community Living (ACL) containing a vision and direction for Pennsylvania’s network of aging services. The Department of Aging is required to submit a plan every four years, with the next plan due by Oct. 1, 2020.
