Two vehicle crashes were reported by Indiana County 911. One at 6:33 PM Thursday and one at 2:10 Friday morning.
Indiana County 911 reported that Black Lick and Blairsville firefighters along with Citizens Ambulance and State Police were dispatched by Indiana County 911 for a crash on Route 22 Westbound in Burrell Township. At the same time, Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters were asked to set up a landing zone near Cornell Road.
Fire officials from Blairsville say that the crash happened at the intersection of Route 22 East and Indiana Avenue as someone pulled out from Indiana Avenue. One person was flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, and another was taken to IRMC.
Another vehicle accident was reported this morning, but this one was in Westmoreland County. Saltsburg and Tunnelton fire departments were called out to Route 981 for a vehicle accident. No details are available on that incident at this time.
