Late in the evening on Saturday, June 27, 2020, Norma D. Moorhead (known to many as “Sis”), departed her earthly home to reunite with her loving husband of 66 years, Ernest. Sis also joins her parents, Jay and Grace Dickey; her brother, Warren; her sister, Dee; and so many others, including her dear friends, Bud and Beck McNaughton.
Sis was born in Indiana, where she spent most of her life working as an ophthalmologist assistant for Dorsey Hoyt, and later for Robert Goldstrom, until her retirement.
Later in life, Sis and Gump moved to Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, to be near their goddaughter, Susan McNaughton and her husband Al Iannello and their family, where Sis lived out her remaining years.
Sis is survived by Susan and Al; Susan’s children: Heather Droege, Ben McMillen and their families; her nephews: Scott Phillipsen and his family; and Brett Phillipsen.
A joint burial for Norma and Ernest will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home.
