FORT LIGONIER DAYS CANCELED

One of the region’s biggest fall events, Fort Ligonier Days, has been cancelled.  The organizers say the popular attraction, which was scheduled for October 9^th through the 11^th, will be replaced this year by a virtual event.

A Facebook message by board president Mark Sorice says the 61^st edition of Fort Ligonier Days was canceled because “the risk of the health of our community overrides any other factor.”  He says the virtual “Fort Days” – as they are known to locals – on fortligonierdays.com and social media platforms will feature merchants, vendors, sponsors and supporters.

Sorice says next year’s Fort Ligonier Days will return with “utmost vigor”.
