Every now and then, we like to tell stories of people doing good in the Indiana County area and in this story, a state trooper lent a hand to help out someone in need.
It started around 6:00 PM on Tuesday on the route 119 interchange between Indiana and Homer City as Laken Pudliner of New Florence developed a flat tire and needed to change it. That was when State Trooper Ryan Onder pulled over himself, turned on his emergency lights and helped her with changing the tire.
Pudliner said that the Trooper took the initiative to help her out on a busy stretch of road.
Trooper Onder had Pudliner back on the road in a half-hour.
