The Ox Hill Fair is the latest event to be cancelled in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak.
In a Facebook post, it was announced that the fair board came to the decision to close the fair, which was scheduled for the week of Labor Day. While it had the best intentions to move forward with the fair, the board felt with all the guidelines and stipulations from the state to prevent the spread of Coronavirus that it would be a better idea to cancel the 2020 fair out of concern for the community, vendors and volunteers. The board also stated that there are also insurance issues and a potential financial risk that would prohibit fair operations.
