The Indiana County Center for Economic Operations has released the latest information on grant programs for small businesses that have been impacted by Covid-19.
The grant application period will open on or around July 1st. The CEO is encouraging small business owners to get ready to apply by getting their paperwork together and familiarizing themselves with one of the Community Development Financial Institutions. Four such institutions will serve the Indiana County region:
- The Progress Fund
- Bridgeway Capital
- Northside Community Fund
- The Reinvestment Fund
When the grant application period opens, each of those company’s websites will have access to a common application portal.
To be eligible for these grants, the business’ annual gross revenues must be less than $1 million as stated on their most recent federal income tax return for 2018 or 2019 or on internally prepared financials for 2019, the business must have less than 25 employees prior to the pandemic, and they must operate in the state and be current on federal and state taxes. Grants will range from $5000 to $50,000 based on Annual Gross Revenues.
