At their meeting Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors were given an update on funding for the second round of Green Light Go grants.
Township Manager Milt Lady said he received a letter from PennDOT with some bad news for the project.
He said PennDOT’s reason was due to the Coronavirus crisis, and that if they open up another application period, White Township would re-file the application. The project funded by the Green Light Go Grants is the installation of new light poles and signals at the Warren Road-Ben Franklin Road-Indian Springs Road intersection.
In other business, Lady announced that they have not yet received their stewardship plan back from DCNR. Lady said he wanted to wait until the plan was returned with their suggestions before bringing it to the supervisors for their approval.
