The corner of 8th and Philadelphia Street was the site of a rally to support hair stylists and barbers this morning.
Like many in the industry, Connie Chimino of Main Street Hair Design in Homer City said that she missed working at her salon and wanted to get back to work.
Bob Colgan of Rayne Township said he felt that the people’s freedoms were being taken away, and compared Governor Wolf to a czar.
And Indiana County Auditor Donna Cupp said that salon owners, like many small business owners, are risk takers.
About 40 people showed up to support the stylists and barbers this morning.
