PennDOT projects will resume on Tuesday for two projects in Indiana County.
On Tuesday, there will be some changes in the area of the Philadelphia Street box culvert project in Indiana Borough. Traffic going both directions will be maintained on Philadelphia Street from 4th Street to 3rd Street, but access to Cherry Avenue will be closed. Width restrictions will also be in place. Crews from Glenn O. Hawbaker will work on the project as part of a $4.06 million group bridge replacement project.
The other project is on Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township with alternating lane restrictions in place on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Work on this project includes epoxy overlay of bridges and placement of raised pavement markings on Route 22 from West Philadelphia Street in Armagh to Route 403. Lane restrictions will be in place for the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
PennDOT is urging motorists to slow down in the work zones.
