Indiana Borough Police have charged two Indiana men with drug-related crimes for an incident back in February. Police say that they were called out at 4:37 AM on February 12th to investigate a report of illegal drug activity taking place in a residence in the 1400 block of Philadelphia Street. Police saw drug paraphernalia when they got there and executed a search warrant. Several drug paraphernalia items and about two grams of crystal methamphetamine were seized. Police charged 18-year-old Trever Day and 35-year-old James Selsky with possession of drug paraphernalia, and Day was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Three individuals were charged with underage drinking for an incident around 1:00 Friday morning. Indiana Borough police were headed to a noise complaint in the 500 block of Church Street when they came upon 20-year-olds Ryan Orsargos and Christopher Clevenger of Homer City along with an un-named juvenile from Blairsville and the three were intoxicated. All three were cited for underage drinking.
Speaking of that noise complaint, it was in the 600 block of Church Street at 1:46 in the morning, as 20-year-old Carlos Carter was allegedly playing loud music. Carter was identified as a resident and was issued a citation for violating the borough’s noise ordinance.
