The state will reopen 155 liquor stores for in-person sales tomorrow, including some newly transitioning to the yellow phase of the governor’s reopening plan for Pennsylvania.
Four stores in Indiana County are on the list that will allow limited in-store sales…The Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores in Blairsville, Clymer, and the two Indiana stores on Philadelphia Street and in the Townfair Plaza along Ben Franklin Road South.
The number of customers inside a store will be limited, with a maximum of 25 in any store but smaller numbers for smaller stores. The first hour open will be reserved for high-risk customers, including those who are 65 or older, and everyone must wear a mask and practice physical distancing. Stores will not accept returns, and some stores may modify their hours to perform deep cleaning.
The state will also allow shooting ranges and drive-in theaters to reopen tomorrow in counties transitioning to yellow. The Game Commission includes Indiana County and its neighbors are included in that order, and shooting-range permits set to expire on June 30th will be extended to August 31st.
In addition, hunting and furtaker license set to expire on June 30th will be eligible for shooting range use through August. Those sportsmen will still need a new license starting July 1st for any actual hunting and trapping.
Indiana County’s lone drive-in theater, the Palace Gardens Drive-In on Indian Springs Road, has not announced when it plans to reopen.
