Governor Tom Wolf has announced a new initiative to help the state in its recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic.
Governor Wolf says the Commonwealth Civilian Coronavirus Corps will put people to work and expand the state’s ability to conduct contact tracing and testing. Wolf says the initiative will reduce the state’s unemployment rate and make a lasting health and economic contribution to the commonwealth. The governor hopes the state can get special funding from the federal government for the initiative.
