The state Health Department on Sunday said Indiana County’s total Covid-19 cases stands at 69, with the number of Covid-related deaths remaining at four.
The state reported 962 new cases and 26 additional deaths. It places total deaths at 2,444 and total Covid-19 infections at 49,267, while 191,374 tests have come back negative.
1,635 of the deaths have been residents of nursing homes or personal care homes, and the state says 9,122 residents of homes have contracted Covid-19, while there have have been 1,194 employees infected.
The Health Department’s Hospital Preparedness Dashboard shows Indiana County with 22 ventilators available, none currently in use.
