An Indiana man was arrested by state police and charged with drug-related crimes.
Troopers say that they executed a search warrant on April 29th at a home on East Pike Road in White Township where they believed a man was trafficking drugs. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Waylon Strange, who is currently on parole. Police found him in possession of crystal methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, scales and various packing materials for the sale of crystal meth. For this incident, he was charged with a felony count of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of children.
Strange has a second active case in the court system. He was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia for an incident on October 6th of last year.
Strange was taken to the Indiana County Jail where he was lodged in lieu of $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing for the April 29th case is set for May 13th. For the other case, a preliminary hearing is set for June 16th.
