In Indiana County, Indiana – the 15701 zip code – has the most positive cases with 19.
Among neighboring counties, Westmoreland reports the most positive cases, with two reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 393 and deaths remained at 25. Armstrong County’s total of positive cases increased by one to 52, with two deaths, while Jefferson County stayed at four positive cases and Cambria County increased by three to 31, with one death.
The state is reporting that the number of positive cases in Pennsylvania reached 46,971, an increase of 1,208 from Thursday. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 38 percent of the 46,971 cases. Deaths in Pennsylvania attributed to confirmed cases increased by 62 to 2,354.
While 46,971 have tested positive in the state, 180,477 have tested negative. In Indiana County, 726 have tested negative.
