Among neighboring counties, Westmoreland reports the most positive cases, with five reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 391 and deaths remained at 25. Armstrong County’s total of positive cases increased by one to 51, with two deaths, while Jefferson County stayed at four positive cases and Cambria County increased by three to 28, with one death.
The state is reporting that the number of positive cases in Pennsylvania reached 45,763, an increase of 1,397 from Wednesday. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 38 percent of the 45,763 cases. Deaths in Pennsylvania attributed to confirmed cases increased by 97 to 2,292.
While 45,763 have tested positive in the state, 175,602 have tested negative. In Indiana County, 693 have tested negative.
