There’s no word on the cause of a fire in Pine Township in Armstrong County last night.
Fire crews were called out at 11:55 last night at a home in the 200 block of Clay Avenue. Reports say that the two story house had heavy fire showing on the first floor. The quick arrival of firefighters was attributed to the fact that the fire department was less than a half-mile from the scene.
There were no reported injuries, but a witness at the scene said they thought the home had been undergoing some remodeling.
