CENTER TOWNSHIP
A Homer City man and woman are both facing charges after an altercation on Friday night at a location along Route 56 in Center Township.
State police say 27-year-old Patrick Ryan Price and 57-year-old June Truitt were arguing when Price spit on her and she spat back. Price then hit Truitt in the face, knocking her to the ground, and when a 63-year-old man attempted to intervene, Price hit him in the face, too.
Truitt suffered a bruised left eye and a scraped elbow. The man who attempted to break up the fight, who is not publicly identified, suffered a bruised right eye.
Police say Price was charged with two counts of simple assault and Truitt was charged with harassment.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
State police are investigating the theft of a gun from a home along Treese Avenue in White Township. The chrome .380 caliber handgun was reported missing by a 73-year-old woman on April 6th.
GREEN TOWNSHIP
An ATV was stolen this weekend from a wooded area along Greenwich Road in Green Township. Police say the dark green camouflage-patterned 2005 Yamaha Bruin is owned by a 46-year-old Cherry Tree man. It was stolen between 6 PM and 8:20 PM on Friday.
