For the first time since April 15, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, as of noon today, is reporting no change in the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indiana County in the last 24 hours. The number remains at 63, with the number of Indiana County deaths attributed to Covid-19 at four.
In Indiana County, Indiana – the 15701 zip code – has the most positive cases with 19.
Among neighboring counties, Westmoreland reports the most positive cases, with 14 reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 374 and 19 deaths, which did not change in the last 24 hours. Armstrong County’s total of positive cases remained at 46, with two deaths, while Jefferson County stayed at four positive cases and Cambria County stayed at 21 with one death.
The state is reporting that the number of positive cases in Pennsylvania reached 41,165, an increase of 1,116 from Saturday. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 38 percent of the 41,165 cases. Deaths in Pennsylvania due to confirmed cases increased by just 13 to 1,550.
While 41,165 have tested positive in the state, 157,428 have tested negative. In Indiana County, 590 have tested negative.
